Diya – Bombay Ducks – Instrumental Music | #LifeIsMusic

Bombay Ducks begin this week’s performances with their track, Diya, composed by Jazz Maestro Louiz Banks. It begins with a Flute alaap, a slow rhythm which is picked up by the Percussion on the Tabla, Drums, and Cajón. The Bass Guitar follows, and the Electric Guitar enters last to build up the introduction. The piece is dedicated to peace, brotherhood and love in the world. Flutist Avadhoot Phadke decided to slow down the pace of the track and the band makes it sound like a soulful ballad.
